  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to local government; increasing the permitted 
  1.3             administrative fund levy for the Valley Branch 
  1.4             watershed district. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [VALLEY BRANCH WATERSHED DISTRICT.] 
  1.7      Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 103D.905, 
  1.8   subdivision 3, the Valley Branch watershed district may levy up 
  1.9   to $200,000 annually for its administrative fund. 
  1.10     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.11     Section 1 is effective, without local approval, beginning 
  1.12  with taxes levied in 1996, payable in 1997.
