  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to appropriations; authorizing state bonds; 
  1.3             appropriating money for the Blazing Star trail 
  1.4             extension. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [BLAZING STAR TRAIL EXTENSION.] 
  1.7      Subdivision 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] $900,000 is appropriated 
  1.8   from the bond proceeds fund to the commissioner of natural 
  1.9   resources to construct and complete the Blazing Star state trail 
  1.10  from Albert Lea to Myre-Big Island. 
  1.11     Subd. 2.  [BOND SALE.] To provide the money appropriated in 
  1.12  subdivision 1 from the bond proceeds fund, the commissioner of 
  1.13  finance, on request of the governor, shall sell and issue bonds 
  1.14  of the state in an amount up to $900,000 in the manner, upon the 
  1.15  terms, and with the effect prescribed by Minnesota Statutes, 
  1.16  section 16A.631 to 16A.675, and by the Minnesota Constitution, 
  1.17  article XI, sections 4 to 7. 
  1.18     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.19     Section 1 is effective the day following its final 
  1.20  enactment.
