A bill for an act
relating to employment; providing a cause of action for employees for injuries
caused by the COVID-19 vaccine; proposing coding for new law in Minnesota
Statutes, chapter 604.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

new text begin (a) An employee who is required by an employer to obtain a COVID-19 vaccination to
remain employed, or as a condition of employment, has a cause of action against the employer
for damages for an injury or death caused by the COVID-19 vaccine. This section applies
to both public and private employers, and includes individuals contracted to do work for
an employer when the contract is contingent on the contracted individual obtaining a
COVID-19 vaccine prior to beginning the work. No employer may use funding from workers'
compensation insurance under chapter 176 to cover the cost of damages owed under this
section.
