relating to natural resources; providing wetland bank credit under certain
state-held conservation easements; proposing coding for new law in Minnesota
Statutes, chapter 103G.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

BANK CREDIT.

new text begin If the state holds an easement for conservation purposes and the land covered by the
easement contains ten or more acres of wetlands that are otherwise eligible for inclusion in
the state wetland bank, the wetlands shall be credited in the wetland bank to the watershed
in which they are located.
