A bill for an act
relating to natural resources; appropriating money for Red River Basin Commission.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION.

$150,000 in fiscal year 2020 and $150,000 in fiscal year 2021 are appropriated from the
general fund to the Board of Water and Soil Resources for a grant to the Red River Basin
Commission. Of this amount, $50,000 in fiscal year 2021 must be granted based on matching
contributions from within the state of North Dakota or from within the province of Manitoba.
