  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to agriculture; appropriating money for the 
  1.3             Agricultural Utilization Research Institute. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [AURI APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.6      $2,405,000 in fiscal year 2004 and $2,405,000 in fiscal 
  1.7   year 2005 are appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.8   Agricultural Utilization Research Institute to operate its 
  1.9   programs.  These appropriations are added to the appropriations 
  1.10  in Laws 2003, chapter 128, article 3, section 4.  Any amount not 
  1.11  used in the first year is available in the second year of the 
  1.12  biennium. 
  1.13     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.14     Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
