  1.2             relating to agriculture; clarifying a definition 
  1.3             related to the Minnesota extension service; amending 
  1.4             Minnesota Statutes 2000, section 38.331, subdivision 2.
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 2000, section 38.331, 
  1.7   subdivision 2, is amended to read: 
  1.8      Subd. 2.  [COUNTY EXTENSION WORK.] "County extension work" 
  1.9   means educational programs and services provided by extension 
  1.10  agents educators in the areas of agriculture, economic and human 
  1.11  development, community; agricultural finance; economic 
  1.12  development; nutrition; youth leadership development including 
  1.13  4-H programs; leadership,; and environment and natural resources.
