  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to the environment; requiring the pollution 
  1.3             control agency to amend a rule relating to individual 
  1.4             sewage treatment systems. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [RULE AMENDMENT.] 
  1.7      By September 1, 2002, the commissioner of the pollution 
  1.8   control agency must amend Minnesota Rules, chapter 7080, to 
  1.9   provide for bioremediation technologies in failed individual 
  1.10  sewage treatment systems.  
  1.11     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.12     This act is effective the day following final enactment.
