  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to capital improvements; permitting 
  1.3             improvements for the St. Louis County Heritage and 
  1.4             Arts Center as well as the addition previously 
  1.5             authorized; amending Laws 1994, chapter 643, section 
  1.6             2, subdivision 13. 
  1.7   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.8      Section 1.  Laws 1994, chapter 643, section 2, subdivision 
  1.9   13, is amended to read: 
  1.10  Subd. 13.  St. Louis County
  1.11  Heritage and Arts Center                                750,000
  1.12  This appropriation is for a grant to 
  1.13  St. Louis county to construct an 
  1.14  addition or improvements to the St. 
  1.15  Louis county heritage and arts center 
  1.16  in Duluth, subject to new Minnesota 
  1.17  Statutes, section 16A.695. 
  1.18  This appropriation is available only as 
  1.19  matched by $2 of nonstate money for 
  1.20  every $1 of state money.
