  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to housing; providing funding for the family 
  1.3             homeless prevention program; appropriating money. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [FAMILY HOMELESS PREVENTION APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.6      $2,000,000 in fiscal year 2001 is appropriated from the 
  1.7   general fund for transfer to the housing development fund for 
  1.8   the family homeless prevention and assistance program under 
  1.9   Minnesota Statutes, section 462A.04.  This appropriation is in 
  1.10  addition to any other appropriation and shall be added to the 
  1.11  budget base for the program otherwise provided by law for the 
  1.12  2002-2003 biennium.
