  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to game and fish; modifying harassment 
  1.3             prohibition; amending Minnesota Statutes 2000, section 
  1.4             97A.037, subdivision 4. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 2000, section 97A.037, 
  1.7   subdivision 4, is amended to read: 
  1.8      Subd. 4.  [PEACE OFFICER ORDER; PENALTY.] A person must 
  1.9   obey the order of a peace officer to stop the harassing conduct 
  1.10  that violates this section if the officer observes the conduct.  
  1.11  For purposes of this subdivision, "harassing conduct" does not 
  1.12  include a landowner's or lessee's action to enforce the Trespass 
  1.13  Law or a marina owner's or operator's action in seeking access 
  1.14  to the marina by water.  Violation of this subdivision is a 
  1.15  misdemeanor.
