A bill for an act
 relating to natural resources; requiring amendment of rules related to wildlife
management areas.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

new text begin The commissioner of natural resources shall amend Minnesota Rules, part
6230.0250, subpart 15, to permit a person to construct a dock in a wildlife management
area if the person owns shoreland abutting the wildlife management area. The
commissioner shall amend Minnesota Rules, part 6230.0250, subpart 19, to permit a
person to leave a boat unattended overnight in a wildlife management area if the person
owns shoreland abutting the wildlife management area. The commissioner may use the
good cause exemption under Minnesota Statutes, section 14.388, subdivision 1, clause (3),
in adopting rules under this section and Minnesota Statutes, section 14.386, does not apply
except as provided in Minnesota Statutes, section 14.388.
