  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to local government; clarifying town board 
  1.3             vote requirements on certain fund transfers; amending 
  1.4             Minnesota Statutes 1994, section 366.04. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 1994, section 366.04, is 
  1.7   amended to read: 
  1.8      366.04 [TRANSFER FUNDS.] 
  1.9      A town board by unanimous vote of the full board, not 
  1.10  counting vacancies, may transfer a surplus beyond the needs of 
  1.11  the current year in a town fund to any other town fund to supply 
  1.12  a deficiency.
