  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to health; appropriating money to fund 
  1.3             capital improvements for organ, eye, and tissue 
  1.4             donation initiatives. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION; MINNESOTA DONOR DECISION 
  1.7   CAMPAIGN.] 
  1.8      $....... is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.9   commissioner of health for a grant to a Minnesota organ 
  1.10  procurement organization that is certified by the federal health 
  1.11  care financing administration or to an entity that is a 
  1.12  charitable entity under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal 
  1.13  Revenue Code of 1986 and is created by an organ procurement 
  1.14  organization that is certified by the federal health care 
  1.15  financing administration.  The appropriation is for initiatives 
  1.16  to encourage organ, eye, and tissue donation. 
  1.17     $....... of this appropriation must be used for a mobile 
  1.18  learning center to provide interactive education about organ, 
  1.19  tissue, and eye donation to citizens across the state. 
  1.20     The appropriation under this section is for improvements of 
  1.21  a capital nature and is subject to Minnesota Statutes, section 
  1.22  16A.28, subdivision 5.
