  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to children; providing for additional family 
  1.3             visitation centers; appropriating money. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [TITLE.] 
  1.6      This act shall be known as the "Alex and Brandon Frank 
  1.7   Family Visitation Center Act." 
  1.8      Sec. 2.  [APPROPRIATIONS.] 
  1.9      $....... is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.10  commissioner of children, families, and learning to establish 
  1.11  and fund additional family visitation centers pursuant to 
  1.12  Minnesota Statutes, section 119A.37, in Crow Wing county and 
  1.13  other appropriate Minnesota counties.  This appropriation is 
  1.14  available until June 30, 1999. 
  1.15     Sec. 3.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.16     This act is effective the day following final enactment.
