relating to capital improvements; appropriating money for the Houston County
Historical Society Building.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $600,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the Minnesota Historical Society
for a grant to the Houston County Historical Society to renovate existing space and to
predesign, design, and construct an addition to the Houston County Historical Society
Building located in the city of Caledonia. This appropriation is available until the project
is completed or abandoned, subject to Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.642.
