  1.1                          A bill for an act
  1.2             relating to commerce; requiring that advertised 
  1.3             airfares be available in reasonable numbers; proposing 
  1.4             coding for new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 325F.
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [325F.72] [ADVERTISING OF AIRLINE TICKETS.] 
  1.7      Subdivision 1.  [AIRLINE TICKET.] "Airline ticket" means a 
  1.8   document or electronic record reflecting a passenger's payment 
  1.9   of the price of air travel and permitting the passenger to 
  1.10  engage in that air travel. 
  1.11     Subd. 2.  [CLASS OF TRAVEL.] "Class of travel" means the 
  1.12  kind of ticket granted to the passenger, expressed in terms such 
  1.13  as "coach," "first class," or "business class." 
  1.14     Subd. 3.  [ADVERTISING OF AIRLINE TICKETS.] No person shall 
  1.15  advertise the availability of airline tickets at a particular 
  1.16  price unless the person intends to provide a reasonable number 
  1.17  of tickets at that price.  The tickets offered at the specified 
  1.18  price must conform to any descriptions in the advertisement of 
  1.19  departure city and destination, departure and arrival dates and 
  1.20  times, and class of travel.
