A bill for an act
relating to human services; authorizing a supplemental rate for a housing support
provider located in Hennepin County; amending Minnesota Statutes 2018, section
256I.05, by adding a subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2018, section 256I.05, is amended by adding a subdivision
to read:

new text begin Notwithstanding subdivisions
1a, 1c, and 1i, a county agency shall negotiate a supplementary rate for 57 beds in addition
to the rate specified in subdivision 1, not to exceed $750 per month, including any
legislatively authorized inflationary adjustments, for a supportive housing provider located
in Hennepin County that primarily serves American Indian clients and that receives financing
through the Minnesota Housing Finance Agency.
