  1.1                          A bill for an act
  1.2             relating to highways; designating speed limit for a 
  1.3             certain school zone. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [SPEED LIMIT SPECIFIED.] 
  1.6      Notwithstanding any law to the contrary, the commissioner 
  1.7   of transportation shall establish a speed limit of 35 miles per 
  1.8   hour on that portion of marked Trunk Highway 57 that abuts the 
  1.9   grounds of Kasson-Mantorville High School, and shall at the 
  1.10  earliest feasible date erect signs designating the speed limit.
