  1.2             relating to human services; appropriating money for 
  1.3             compulsive gambling treatment and education. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [COMPULSIVE GAMBLING; APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.6      $110,000 is appropriated from the lottery prize fund to the 
  1.7   commissioner of human services for a grant to project turnabout 
  1.8   in Granite Falls to provide compulsive gambling treatment and 
  1.9   education.  The appropriation is available until June 30, 2001, 
  1.10  and must not become part of the base appropriation.
