relating to energy; appropriating money for a grant to the Natural Resources and
Research Institute at the University of Minnesota, Duluth.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

$300,000 is appropriated in fiscal year 2010 from the general fund to the Board of
Regents of the University of Minnesota for a grant to the University of Minnesota, Duluth,
for the Natural Resources and Research Institute to develop statewide heat flow maps in
order to determine the geothermal potential of this state.
