  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to education; providing for a grant to 
  1.3             independent school district No. 256, Red Wing, for the 
  1.4             concentrating on reading enhancement program; 
  1.5             appropriating money. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  [CONCENTRATING ON READING ENHANCEMENT PROGRAM; 
  1.8   RED WING.] 
  1.9      The following sum is appropriated from the general fund to 
  1.10  the commissioner of children, families, and learning for a grant 
  1.11  to independent school district No. 256, Red Wing, for the 
  1.12  concentrating on reading enhancement program: 
  1.13         $150,000     .....     2000 
  1.14     This appropriation is available until June 30, 2001.
