  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to the military; appropriating money for 
  1.3             expanding the STARBASE educational program. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION; STARBASE.] 
  1.6      $600,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.7   department of military affairs for expanded outreach of the 
  1.8   Science and Technology Academies Reinforcing Basic Aviation and 
  1.9   Space Exploration (STARBASE) program for northeastern Minnesota 
  1.10  to be located at the Duluth air base.  This appropriation is 
  1.11  available until June 30, 2001.
