A bill for an act
 relating to parks and trails; appropriating money for grants to the Three Rivers
Park District for purposes of the Dakota Rail Regional Trail.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

new text begin $4,500,000 is appropriated from the parks and trails fund for the fiscal year ending
June 30, 2010, to the commissioner of natural resources for a grant to the Three Rivers
Park District operating in Hennepin and Carver Counties for design, engineering, and
construction of pedestrian bridges over County Road 15 in the city of Minnetonka Beach
and Trunk Highway 7 and County Highway 92 in the city of St. Bonifacius to provide
improved access and safety to the Dakota Rail Regional Trail running from Wayzata in
Hennepin County to Hutchinson in McLeod County. The appropriation in this section is
available until expended.
