  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to education; providing for a fund transfer 
  1.3             for independent school district No. 495, Grand Meadow. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [FUND TRANSFER; INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 
  1.6   495, GRAND MEADOW.] 
  1.7      Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, sections 123B.79, 
  1.8   123B.80, and 475.61, subdivision 4, on June 30, 1999, 
  1.9   independent school district No. 495, Grand Meadow, may 
  1.10  permanently transfer up to $300,000 from its disabled access 
  1.11  account in the general fund to its capital fund.  This transfer 
  1.12  is contingent upon the school district's successful construction 
  1.13  of a new kindergarten through grade 12 school. 
  1.14     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.15     Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
