  1.1                          A bill for an act
  1.2             relating to education finance; authorizing a school 
  1.3             district to use health and safety revenue for new 
  1.4             construction. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [HEALTH AND SAFETY REVENUE; NASHWAUK-KEEWATIN.] 
  1.7      Notwithstanding any law to the contrary, Independent School 
  1.8   District No. 319, Nashwauk-Keewatin, may use up to $450,000 of 
  1.9   its health and safety revenue approved for qualifying projects 
  1.10  at its fieldhouse for new construction. 
  1.11     [EFFECTIVE DATE.] This section is effective the day 
  1.12  following final enactment.
