  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to appropriations; appropriating money for 
  1.3             parks, natural resources, agriculture, and wastewater 
  1.4             funding. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.7      $500,000,000 is appropriated from the general fund for the 
  1.8   biennium to be divided as follows: 
  1.9      (1) $100,000,000 is to the metropolitan parks and open 
  1.10  space commission for acquisition and development of parks and 
  1.11  trails in the seven-county metropolitan area; 
  1.12     (2) $100,000,000 is to the commissioner of natural 
  1.13  resources for development and rehabilitation needs in state 
  1.14  parks and for acquisition and development of state trails; 
  1.15     (3) $100,000,000 is to the commissioner of natural 
  1.16  resources to provide grants to local units of government to 
  1.17  provide natural areas, trails, fishing piers, camping areas, 
  1.18  playgrounds, and youth sports or recreational opportunities; 
  1.19     (4) $100,000,000 is to the public facilities authority to 
  1.20  meet needs for wastewater infrastructure and unsewered small 
  1.21  communities; and 
  1.22     (5) $100,000,000 is to the commissioner of agriculture to 
  1.23  capitalize all local revolving accounts for agricultural best 
  1.24  management practices, including rural septic systems.
