  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to state government; repealing certain 
  1.3             obsolete and redundant trade and economic development 
  1.4             department programs and duties; repealing Minnesota 
  1.5             Statutes 2000, sections 41A.066; 116J.541; 116J.542; 
  1.6             116J.8755; 116J.9671; 116J.980, subdivision 4; 
  1.7             116J.992.  
  1.8   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.9      Section 1.  [REVISOR INSTRUCTION.] 
  1.10     The revisor of statutes shall delete "41A.066" in Minnesota 
  1.11  Statutes, sections 41A.02 and 41A.04, and insert "41A.09." 
  1.12     Sec. 2.  [REPEALER.] 
  1.13     Subdivision 1.  [LOANS FOR HAZARDOUS WASTE PROCESSING 
  1.14  FACILITIES.] Minnesota Statutes 2000, section 41A.066, is 
  1.15  repealed. 
  1.16     Subd. 2.  [ANALYSIS OF EFFECT OF BUSINESS-RELATED TAX 
  1.17  REDUCTIONS.] Minnesota Statutes 2000, sections 116J.541; and 
  1.18  116J.542, are repealed. 
  1.19     Subd. 3.  [ELECTRONIC ACCESS TO INTERNATIONAL 
  1.20  MARKETS.] Minnesota Statutes 2000, section 116J.8755, is 
  1.21  repealed. 
  1.22     Subd. 4.  [DTED TO ENCOURAGE AND DEVELOP COMMERCE AND 
  1.23  REMOVE TRADE BARRIERS.] Minnesota Statutes 2000, section 
  1.24  116J.9671, is repealed. 
  1.25     Subd. 5.  [OUTDOOR RECREATION GRANTS.] Minnesota Statutes 
  1.26  2000, section 116J.980, subdivision 4, is repealed. 
  2.1      Subd. 6.  [TACONITE MINING GRANT PROGRAM.] Minnesota 
  2.2   Statutes 2000, section 116J.992, is repealed. 
  2.3      Sec. 3.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  2.4      Section 2 is effective on the day following final enactment.
