relating to workforce development; appropriating money to the Redemption Project
for workforce development services for adults leaving incarceration.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin THE REDEMPTION PROJECT; APPROPRIATION.

$1,000,000 in fiscal year 2024 and $1,000,000 in fiscal year 2025 are appropriated from
the general fund to the commissioner of employment and economic development for a grant
to the Redemption Project to provide employment services to adults leaving incarceration,
including recruiting, educating, training, and retaining employment mentors and partners.
