A bill for an act
 relating to human services; modifying certain direct support services reimbursement
rates.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

WORKFORCE NEGOTIATIONS.

new text begin (a) If the labor agreement between the state of Minnesota and the Service Employees
International Union Healthcare Minnesota under Minnesota Statutes, section 179A.54, is
approved pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, sections 3.855 and 179A.22, the commissioner
of human services shall increase reimbursement rates, individual budgets, grants, or
allocations by 2.37 percent for services provided on or after July 1, 2019, to implement the
minimum hourly wage and paid time off provisions of that agreement.

through a covered program, as defined in Minnesota Statutes, section 256B.0711, subdivision
1, paragraph (b).
