  1.1                          A bill for an act
  1.2             relating to community corrections; appropriating money 
  1.3             for a productive day pilot project operated by 
  1.4             Arrowhead regional corrections. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.7      $....... is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.8   commissioner of corrections for the fiscal biennium ending June 
  1.9   30, 1999.  The commissioner shall distribute the money to the 
  1.10  Arrowhead regional corrections agency for use in a pilot project 
  1.11  to expand the agency's productive day initiative program, as 
  1.12  defined in Minnesota Statutes, section 241.275, to include 
  1.13  juvenile offenders who are 16 years of age and older.
