  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to education; appropriating money for a high 
  1.3             school remote access program in independent school 
  1.4             district Nos. 178, Storden-Jeffers; 633, Lamberton; 
  1.5             and 638, Sanborn. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.8      $180,250 is appropriated in fiscal year 1998 from the 
  1.9   general fund to the commissioner of children, families, and 
  1.10  learning for a grant to independent school district Nos. 178, 
  1.11  Storden-Jeffers; 633, Lamberton; and 638, Sanborn, to establish 
  1.12  a high school program for remote access for learners to the 
  1.13  districts' educational network of data and training, commercial 
  1.14  access for youth entrepreneurship, and commercial access for 
  1.15  school-to-work activities.  This appropriation may be used for 
  1.16  start-up and operation costs.
