  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to railroads; requiring the commissioner of 
  1.3             transportation to prescribe a speed limit on a rail 
  1.4             line between and connecting Warroad and Baudette. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [TRAINS; SPEED LIMIT.] 
  1.7      The commissioner of transportation shall prescribe a speed 
  1.8   limit for a rail line located between and connecting the cities 
  1.9   of Warroad and Baudette.  The speed limit so imposed may not be 
  1.10  greater than 20 miles per hour, except that within the city of 
  1.11  Warroad the speed limit may not be greater than ten miles per 
  1.12  hour.  Minnesota Statutes, section 219.383, subdivisions 2 and 
  1.13  4, apply to a speed limit prescribed under this section.
