  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to appropriations; appropriating money to the 
  1.3             city of Minneapolis to be used by the Minneapolis 
  1.4             police department for transporting and housing 
  1.5             detainees. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION; CITY OF MINNEAPOLIS; 
  1.8   CORRECTIONS.] 
  1.9      $220,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the city 
  1.10  of Minneapolis to be used to assist the Minneapolis police 
  1.11  department in cost of transportation and per diem cost of 
  1.12  temporary housing of pretrial and trial detainees outside the 
  1.13  city of Minneapolis to be available until expended.
