A bill for an act
relating to health; prohibiting mandatory participation in the federal health care
system; prohibiting mandatory insurance coverage.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin PROHIBITING MANDATORY PARTICIPATION IN THE FEDERAL
HEALTH CARE SYSTEM.

new text begin (a) Notwithstanding Public Law 111-148, including any amendments to it by Public
Law 111-152, no Minnesota resident, employer, or health care provider shall be required
to participate in the federal health care system enacted under the federal Patient Protection
and Affordable Care Act, Public Law 111-148, including any amendments to it by Public
Law 111-152.
