  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to state lands; authorizing conveyance of 
  1.3             certain tax-forfeited land that borders public water 
  1.4             and wetland in Hennepin county. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [CONVEYANCE OF TAX-FORFEITED LAND BORDERING 
  1.7   PUBLIC WATER AND WETLAND; HENNEPIN COUNTY.] 
  1.8      (a) Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, sections 92.45, 
  1.9   103F.535, and 282.018, and the public sale provisions of 
  1.10  Minnesota Statutes, chapter 282, Hennepin county shall convey to 
  1.11  the city of Eden Prairie for no consideration the tax-forfeited 
  1.12  land bordering public water and wetland that is described in 
  1.13  paragraph (c). 
  1.14     (b) The conveyance must be in a form approved by the 
  1.15  attorney general and provide that, except for the portion of 
  1.16  land to be sold by the city of Eden Prairie under Minnesota 
  1.17  Statutes, chapter 469, for private development, the land reverts 
  1.18  to the state if the city of Eden Prairie stops using the land 
  1.19  for the public purposes described in paragraph (d). 
  1.20     (c) The land to be conveyed is located in Hennepin county 
  1.21  and is described as: 
  1.22     Outlot A, CASTLE RIDGE, Hennepin county, Minnesota and that 
  1.23     part of Lot 2, Block 2, CASTLE RIDGE, Hennepin county, 
  1.24     Minnesota, lying westerly and southerly of the following 
  1.25     described line: Beginning at a point on the north line of 
  2.1      said Lot 2, distant 364.69 feet East from the northwest 
  2.2      corner of said Lot 2; thence South 36 degrees 21 minutes 21 
  2.3      seconds West (assuming said north line has a bearing of 
  2.4      South 89 degrees 59 minutes 22 second East) a distance of 
  2.5      99.42 feet; thence southerly 436.16 feet along a tangential 
  2.6      curve, concave to the East, having a radius of 420 feet and 
  2.7      a central angle of 59 degrees 30 minutes 00 seconds; thence 
  2.8      South 23 degrees 08 minutes 39 seconds East, tangent to 
  2.9      said curve, a distance of 142.19 feet; thence southeasterly 
  2.10     163.33 feet along a tangential curve, concave to the 
  2.11     northeast, having a radius of 140 feet and a central angle 
  2.12     of 66 degrees 50 minutes 43 seconds; thence South 89 
  2.13     degrees 59 minutes 22 seconds East a distance of 147.58 
  2.14     feet to the point of curvature which intersects the north 
  2.15     line of Castlemoor Drive and the south line of said Lot 2, 
  2.16     and there said described line terminating. 
  2.17     (d) The county has determined that the land is needed by 
  2.18  the city of Eden Prairie for road, park, and wetland open space 
  2.19  purposes and for private development. 
  2.20     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  2.21     Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
