  1.1                          A bill for an act
  1.2             relating to natural resources; appropriating money for 
  1.3             a riparian buffer restoration project in Clay county. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.6      $75,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.7   commissioner of natural resources for a grant to Clay county to 
  1.8   identify, establish, maintain, or restore parcels of land for an 
  1.9   effective riparian buffer restoration project.  The 
  1.10  appropriation is available until June 30, 1998.
