A bill for an act
relating to education finance; authorizing a grant to expand robotics programs in
schools in greater Minnesota; appropriating money.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; GRANT FOR EXPANSION OF ROBOTICS AND
ENGINEERING PROGRAMS IN GREATER MINNESOTA.

$100,000 in fiscal year 2016 and $100,000 in fiscal year 2017 are appropriated from
the general fund to the commissioner of education for a grant to InScite as the fiscal agent
for High Tech Kids for hands-on engineering education programs in greater Minnesota
schools for students in kindergarten through grade 12.
