  1.3             the purchase of services from news media that do not 
  1.4             annually publish ethical standards; proposing coding 
  1.5             for new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 16B. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  [16B.175] [PURCHASES FROM NEWS MEDIA.] 
  1.8      A public entity as defined in section 16B.122 may not 
  1.9   purchase services from or contract with news media that do not 
  1.10  annually publish their ethical standards.
