  1.1                          A bill for an act
  1.2             relating to highways; requiring new or substantially 
  1.3             renovated highway rest areas to have at least one 
  1.4             toilet useable by and available to either gender; 
  1.5             proposing coding for new law in Minnesota Statutes, 
  1.6             chapter 160. 
  1.7   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.8      Section 1.  [160.2825] [HIGHWAY REST AREAS; TOILET 
  1.9   REQUIREMENT.] 
  1.10     The commissioner shall take all necessary steps to ensure 
  1.11  that any interstate or trunk highway rest stop constructed or 
  1.12  substantially remodeled after August 1, 2004, has at least one 
  1.13  toilet available to and useable by either gender.
