  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to human services; increasing the personal 
  1.3             care attendant services reimbursement rate in Beltrami 
  1.4             and Hubbard counties; amending Minnesota Statutes 
  1.5             1996, section 256B.0913, by adding a subdivision. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 1996, section 256B.0913, is 
  1.8   amended by adding a subdivision to read: 
  1.9      Subd. 15d.  [REIMBURSEMENT RATE; BELTRAMI AND HUBBARD 
  1.10  COUNTIES.] Notwithstanding subdivision 14, paragraph (e), 
  1.11  effective July 1, 1997, Beltrami and Hubbard counties' maximum 
  1.12  allowed rate for personal care services is $4.96 per 30-minute 
  1.13  unit.  Any adjustments to the maximum allowed rate for personal 
  1.14  care services for Beltrami or Hubbard county in fiscal year 1998 
  1.15  and beyond shall be calculated from the current maximum rate in 
  1.16  effect at the time an adjustment is made.
