A bill for an act
relating to state government; changing the engraving on a statue of an historic
figure.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin ENGRAVING CHANGE.

The commissioner of administration in consultation with the Capitol Area
Architectural and Planning Board shall have the original engraving on the statue of
Christopher Columbus on the Capitol mall changed to read "Christopher Columbus
Landed in America."
