  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to community development; providing a grant 
  1.3             for the Camp Heartland center; appropriating money. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [CAMP HEARTLAND CENTER; APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.6      $1,000,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.7   commissioner of trade and economic development for the biennium 
  1.8   ending June 30, 2001, for a grant to the Camp Heartland center.  
  1.9   The grant shall be used for phase II capital expenditures 
  1.10  including, without limitation, a septic system upgrade and 
  1.11  bath/shower house construction, construction of a family lodge, 
  1.12  renovation of a medical facility, construction of staff housing 
  1.13  and offices, and expansion and upgrade of the dining room and 
  1.14  kitchen.
