A bill for an act
relating to highway safety; requiring all school districts to maintain a "How's
My Driving?" program; proposing coding for new law in Minnesota Statutes,
chapter 169.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

new text begin A school district must provide a program that allows persons who observe instances
of unsafe driving of a school bus operated by or under contract to the district to report
those instances to a telephone hotline maintained by the district. The program must
include the prominent placement of a sticker on the rear of each school bus containing the
phrase "How's My Driving?" and the telephone hotline number maintained by the district.
