  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to highways; appropriating money for 
  1.3             beautification and enhancement of marked trunk highway 
  1.4             No. 5 in St. Paul. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION FOR TRUNK HIGHWAY 5.] 
  1.7      $....... is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.8   commissioner of transportation to be disbursed as a grant to the 
  1.9   city of St. Paul to improve, enhance, and beautify marked trunk 
  1.10  highway No. 5 from its intersection with the Mississippi River 
  1.11  northeasterly to its intersection with interstate highway No. 
  1.12  35-E.  The enhancements for this approach to Minnesota's capitol 
  1.13  city may include, but are not limited to, landscaping, 
  1.14  historical lighting, and signage.
