  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to higher education; requiring credit 
  1.3             transfer for certain courses taught within the 
  1.4             Minnesota state colleges and universities system. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [MINNESOTA STATE COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES; 
  1.7   CREDIT TRANSFER.] 
  1.8      The board of trustees of the Minnesota state colleges and 
  1.9   universities shall require that any lower-division course 
  1.10  credits earned in a course taught:  (i) at a North Central 
  1.11  Association of Colleges and Schools-accredited institution 
  1.12  within the system; and (ii) by a faculty member who has a 
  1.13  master's degree, be accepted for full credit at any other 
  1.14  college or university within the system.
