  1.2             relating to government officials; limiting certain 
  1.3             promotional activities; amending Minnesota Statutes 
  1.4             1996, section 16B.52, by adding a subdivision. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 1996, section 16B.52, is 
  1.7   amended by adding a subdivision to read: 
  1.8      Subd. 6.  [DEFINITION.] As used in this section, 
  1.9   "publication" includes films, video and audio tapes, 
  1.10  computer-generated material, broadcast material, and material 
  1.11  published by use of any other medium.
