  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to economic development; providing assistance 
  1.3             to economic development in the city of Fridley; 
  1.4             appropriating money. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [MINNESOTA INVESTMENT FUND; FRIDLEY 
  1.7   INFRASTRUCTURE.] 
  1.8      $500,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.9   commissioner of trade and economic development in fiscal year 
  1.10  2000 for the Minnesota investment fund program.  The 
  1.11  appropriation shall be used to make a grant to the city of 
  1.12  Fridley for costs of the design and construction of 
  1.13  infrastructure improvements required by a large business campus 
  1.14  development in the Moore Lakes area of the city.
