relating to chiropractic; retaining the business of a deceased spouse; proposing
coding for new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 148.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

new text begin Notwithstanding any law to the contrary, the surviving spouse of the owner of a
chiropractic clinic shall be entitled to retain the deceased spouse's business interest in the
chiropractic clinic for up to one year following the death of the spouse.
