A bill for an act
relating to higher education; appropriating money to the Board of Regents of the
University of Minnesota for facility condition improvements.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; UNIVERSITY OF MINNESOTA FACILITY
CONDITION IMPROVEMENTS.

$5,000,000 in fiscal year 2016 and $10,000,000 in fiscal year 2017 are appropriated
from the general fund to the Board of Regents of the University of Minnesota for facility
repair and renewal. The board is requested to prioritize use of these funds before
requesting appropriations for asset preservation and replacement under Minnesota
Statutes, section 135A.046.
